My Idea Noun: Home

November 17, 2006

This video is about people’s idea of home and what it means to them. I tried to find a range of ages that would cover the spectrum of life. I appreciate the fact that I found people I know who actually agreed to be interviewed on camera. Without them this video would not exist. So many thanks once again! I wanted to get honest answers from the people, and I think I succeeded. I tried not to have a long “pre-interview” so that for this video felt natural.

I really enjoyed watching this video because it’s nice to hear other peoples opinion on their view of what home is. I have been living away from home for over a month now. And when I think about my home I miss it so much. Like for examples, I miss my shower. I know that sounds pretty funny, but it’s true. It’s the little things that count the most. Or I miss seeing my mom everyday and being able to talk to her face to face. Of course it was my choice to live away from home, but like the movie says, Home is where the Heart is. And that I truly believe.

This one is my favorite! I like how the different opinions all seem to mesh together; maybe it’s just your good editing skillz.

i really liked the part where your grandpappy was talking about the home being organized…that was so cute! plus it’s nice to see deli man without a clear opinion. the sound for toni and kriker was a little muffled..but you know me…the glass is half empty…but that’s all i can say that’s bad about this one. i think becki is right…i miss my shower too!

Looking for an example of an “idea noun” for my Grandchildren; and, even with the “f” word, I will use this video in the lesson. Thanks
